Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Blueprint Studio, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

Blueprint Studio is a desktop book formatting application with an online template marketplace. The service includes the desktop application, associated web services (account management, marketplace, cloud sync), and any related APIs.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person or entity may not maintain more than one account.

4. Pricing and payments

• Lifetime license: A one-time payment granting access to all local features and 18 months of updates from the date of purchase.
• Subscription: A recurring monthly or annual payment that includes cloud sync, continuous updates, and priority support. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
• Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start a trial.

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

5. Refund policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refunds are not available after 30 days.

6. Template marketplace

• Templates sold on the marketplace are subject to our quality review process.
• Template creators retain ownership of their work and grant Blueprint Studio a license to distribute it through the marketplace.
• The platform commission is 25% of each sale; creators receive 75%, paid out via Stripe Connect.
• Purchased templates are licensed for personal and commercial book formatting use. Resale or redistribution of template files is prohibited.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• Share, sublicense, or redistribute your license to others
• Upload malicious, infringing, or illegal content to the marketplace
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual property

Blueprint Studio and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Blueprint Studio and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your book content remains yours — we claim no ownership over any files you create or import.

9. Limitation of liability

Blueprint Studio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
